Professor Monroe’s talk argues for a deep connection between the rise of Pascalian probability, the interest in automata, the use of theater machines, and Aristotelian ideas of dramatic verisimilitude (i.e., likelihood) and catastrophe. As an interpretation of Aristotle, the Classical unities of time, place and action seek to formalize the circumstances of a happening on the stage. Drama becomes a forum for performing cause and effect, probing probability, exploring plausible outcomes, and wondering about the nature fate, chance, and necessity. The early modern play is a meditation on what constitutes an event.

A few things i have seen in terms of laptop memory is there are technical specs such as SDRAM, DDR and so on, that must fit in with the technical specs of the motherboard. If the personal computer’s motherboard is pretty current while there are no computer OS issues, modernizing the memory literally usually takes under an hour or so. It’s one of the easiest laptop upgrade methods one can picture. Thanks for revealing your ideas.

DIEGO “EL CIGALA” SALAZAR, who’s innovative, fiery vocals are rooted in the great flamenco tradition fused with other idioms from the Cuban bolero to the passionate Argentine tango, was born in the El Rastro district of Madrid into a musical family of Romani artists and intellectuals. When he was 12 years old, he won the Certamen Flamenco Joven de Getafe (Madrid flamenco competition for young singers) and an award on the Spanish TV show Gente Joven. As a teenager, he sang for well known flamenco dancers and on recordings by Camarón, Tomatito, Gerardo Núñez and Vicente Amigo. Nicknamed “El Cigala” (the little prawn) because of the enormous vocal passion that pours out of Diego’s small frame, he started his solo career at age 19, gaining popularity in Spain’s flamenco community with a steady stream of Spanish hit albums while singing in local clubs. He recorded his first album Undebel in 1997, and followed up with Entre Vareta y Canasta a year later. 2000 saw the release of the Latin GRAMMY Award-nominated album Corren Tiempos de Alegria, which featured some of the musicians who appeared in the film Calle 54, including Cuban jazz pianist Bebo Valdés and Bronx-born Puerto Rican trumpeter/percussionist Jerry Gonzalez, In 2003 he recorded Lágrimas Negras with Bebo Valdés, which brought el Cigala international acclaim for its easy fusion of Cuban rhythms and flamenco vocals. The album was named the Album of the Year by the New York Times’s Ben Ratliff in 2003, saw five GRAMMY nominations including winning the Latin GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Tropical Album, the GRAMMY for Best Music Video, five Amigo Awards, three Musica Awards, and the Ondas Award for Best Flamenco Work. Two years later, his next album, Picasso en Mis Ojos, won the 2006 Latin GRAMMY for Best Flamenco Album. 2009’s album of re-envisioned boleros, ballads and tangos, Dos Lágrimas, was recorded with all-star musicians in Spain and Cuba and featured three charting singles: “Dos Gardenias”’ “Maria de la O” and “Historia de un Amor”. El Cigala then traveled to Argentina to record the Argentinian tango album Cigala & Tango, which went gold after being initially released only in Spain, Argentina, and Columbia, eventually earning the 2010 Latin GRAMMY for Best Tango Album. Despite an active touring schedule, his next album, Romance de La Luna Tucumana, a boundary-pushing blend of classic Adalusian folk song, tango and rock, which featured Diego Garcia on guitar, brought home another Latin GRAMMY for Best Tango Album. El Cigala’s latest and first salsa album, Indestrucitible, was recorded in Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, New York and Miami with a host of Cuban and salsa music legends. Released in October 2016, it is a tribute to El Cigala’s late wife Amparo, and to his mentor, the late, great Cuban pianist Bebo Valdés. ALEX CONDE, son of legendary Copla singer, Alejandro Conde, Alex Conde is a vibrant and visionary jazz and flamenco pianist and composer who was born into a family of musicians in Spain, started playing classical piano at age four and went onto study at the Conservatorio Jose Iturbi de Valencia, jazz piano at el Liceu de Barcelona, and at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. Combining his background of classical, jazz, Spanish religious folklore and flamenco musical traditions, he released his first album Jazz and Claps in in 2009, followed up by Barrio Del Carmen in 2013. Conde has composed for flamenco companies such as AFSB and Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco. His 2015 album, Descarga for Monk, an irresistible combination of Monk’s compositions with the added spice of flamenco flavor, has been received with great accolades. Alex Conde will be releasing his new CD "Origins" in May 2018 on the new label Uprising Music, a subsidiary of Ropeadope Records.
